Dr. Asitama Sarkar is a qualified and trained ENT surgeon with expertise in laryngology and voice surgeries. She has completed her medical school training from Mumbai and thereafter completed post- graduation from Miraj under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Following that, she obtained her fellowship accredited by Association of Phonosurgeons of India (APSI) in Laryngology and swallowing disorders from Bombay Hospital in Mumbai. She has also spent her training years in Mount Sinai , New York where she visited as an elective student. 

Dr. Asitama Sarkar has a special interest in otology and endoscopic sinus surgeries and has more than 9 years of experience in the field of ENT. She has worked as a SR in BMC Government hospital in Mumbai for 4 years following which she worked as a Junior ENT Consultant at Mayom hospital in Gurgaon. 

Dr. Sarkar is also the author of more than 12 national and international published research articles and has won the best poster award in Phonosurgery workshop in 2021 and best paper award in the Consultant category at Phonocon 2022.
