At ABH, our team of well-trained obstetrician, medical officers and nurses provide care for every stage in a woman’s life — from adolescence to adulthood, through childbearing to menopause and the post-menopausal years.

We have a long tradition of providing excellent obstetrical and gynecological care to patients and their families, while advancing the field through research that leads to new and better treatment options.

We offer a full range of gynecology services including well-woman visits, surgical and non-surgical procedures for abnormal uterine bleeding (PCOS, heavy flow, scanty flow, painful periods), dysmenorrhea (painful menses), vaginal infections (discharge through vagina, private part irritation, itching, bartholin’s cyst), dyspareunia (painful intercourse or sex), pelvic floor disorders (uterine prolapsed, vault prolapse), uterine or ovarian mass ( fibroids, cysts, endometriosis), cancer screenings (LBC, pap smear, mammography) and cancers that affect the reproductive organs like uterine cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer.

Obstetric services include routine and high-risk antenatal care, pre-conceptional counseling, normal and painless vaginal deliveries, caesarean section.

Our obstetrician is specially trained to deal with high-risk pregnancy like diabetes, hypertension, fetal growth restriction, IVF pregnancy, multifetal pregnancy like twins, triplets.

Women suffering from medical or surgical disorders like heart disease (RHD, Valve replacement), thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism) kidney diseases (chronic kidney diseases, dialysis patients, post renal transplant) receive the best multi-disciplinary care, all under the same roof.

We also provide many basic and advanced services including ultrasounds to screen, evaluate and diagnose fetal conditions, as well as the pelvis, ovarian masses, and ovarian and endometrial cancer, Cancer screening tests, aneuploidy screening like dual marker, quadruple marker, NIPT.

We are the only centre in the city to do invasive procedures like Amniocentesis, CVS, extended second trimester medical abortions upto 24 weeks.

Fertility treatments for the infertile couples is also available.

Our department is fully equipped with state-of-art Maternity Unit which has its own antenatal rooms, delivery room, obstetric OT, labor rooms and Neonatal Intensive Care unit. We provide facility for individual laboring suites, continuous fetal heart monitoring, epidural analgesia for painless delivery, forceps or vacuum assisted deliveries and stem cell preservation.

Painless Deliveries

ABH is proud to offer painless delivery to expectant mothers. The most effective method for relief of labor pain is regional anesthetic in the form of epidural or spinal anesthesia, in which medicines are placed near the nerves that carry painful impulses from the uterus and cervix, lessening pain and facilitating the participation of the mother in delivery. This helps us to reduce the incidence of cesarean sections which is increasing day by day just because the woman is unable to bear pains of labor and chooses cesarean instead of vaginal delivery.
