Biography

Dr Saurabh Baghi is a highly trained Non-Invasive Cardiologist and academician. He completed his MD in Internal Medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn USA. He then pursued a fellowship in Cardiology and Heart Failure at the world-renowned Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York, USA. He received extensive specialist training in patients with advanced heart failure and cardiac devices including ICDs, Pacemakers and CRTs. After finishing his fellowship, Dr Baghi joined Parkview Medical Center as a Consultant and Associate Director of Internal Medicine Residency Program. During his tenure, he mentored several doctors and medical students. He was also nominated as part-time faculty at The Rocky Mountain University School of Medicine, Colorado USA. Dr Baghi was also a member of several committees, including peer-review and morbidity / mortality that maintained the quality of medical care at the hospital. After leaving Parkivew Medical Center in 2017, Dr Baghi worked at several hospitals in the states of Colorado and Washington. He continued to train doctors throughout his career in the USA and received the ‘Best Teacher Award’ at Sterling Regional Medical Center in 2019. He moved back to India in early 2020 and joined as Consultant Cardiologist. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer. With his leadership, ABH is now at the forefront of providing quality, evidence-based, affordable healthcare in the state of Punjab.

Dr Baghi has a special interest in treating Ischemic and Non-Ischemic Cardiomyopathies, Advanced Heart Failure and Arrhythmias. He is also an avid promoter of living a healthier life with a balanced diet and exercise and preventive medicine with appropriate and timely management of cardiac risk factors such as hypertension and diabetes.
