Dr. Vikram Kumar is a Consultant Radiologist at Anil Baghi Hospital. He completed his MBBS from VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, and pursued his MD in Radiodiagnosis and Intervention Radiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of India’s premier medical institutes.

During his residency at PGIMER, Chandigarh, Dr. Vikram gained extensive experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He independently reported CT/MRI/X-ray examinations with high diagnostic accuracy and contributed to multidisciplinary clinical decision-making. He actively participated in research, clinical audits, and AI-driven radiology initiatives, including radiology data segmentation and annotation for AI/LLM models. He also performed ultrasound-guided interventional procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainages with comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care.

Dr. Vikram joined Anil Baghi Hospital, Ferozepur, in January 2026 as a Consultant Radiologist. He oversees the day-to-day functioning of the radiology department, ensuring protocol optimization and quality assurance. His expertise includes emergency, oncology, and routine imaging, as well as image-guided interventional procedures including biopsies, FNAC, and drainages. He is also actively involved in integrating AI-assisted tools to enhance diagnostic consistency and reporting efficiency.

Dr. Vikram has been recognized for his academic excellence, receiving distinctions in Pathology and Pharmacology during MBBS. He secured first prize in the national-level radiology conference e SERCON 2023, ISGAR 2023, AIIMS-MAMC-PGI 2024, and ISPR 2024, and won first prize for a poster presentation at ISGAR 2023. He has also served as a Member of the Executive Committee of ISGAR.

His key areas of interest include diagnostic radiology, non-vascular interventions, radiology data segmentation, AI in medical imaging, and image-guided procedures. He is committed to delivering precise, patient-centered radiological care while advancing innovation in medical imaging.
