Dr Wajahat is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Anil Baghi Hospital, Ferozepur. He completed his MBBS from GMC Jammu and subsequently pursued his MD in Oncology from SKIMS Srinagar, one of the premier medical institutions in the region.

Following his post-graduation, Dr Wajahat worked as a Registrar in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Government Medical College, Srinagar. He subsequently served as a Consultant Oncologist at Park Group of Hospitals, Delhi, further consolidating his clinical expertise. He has also gained significant international exposure, having built oncology services from the ground up in Kinshasa.

Dr Wajahat joined Anil Baghi Hospital, Ferozepur as the Consultant Oncologist and is working as a full-time specialist in Clinical Oncology. With his extensive expertise spanning both systemic therapy and radiotherapy, pain and palliative care. he provides comprehensive cancer care to patients from across the region. He is co-author of the textbook Basic Radiation Oncology and holds permanent membership of both the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO).
